It's not anything like the book's I usually read, but yeas I'm enjoying it a lot. It's based on the Biblical story of the tower of Babel, which I think is a really neat premise for a book.
Jennifer Mugrage is a good writer.

I like gothic horror, domestic thrillers, and obscure phobias. I mashed them all together with a dash of V.C Andrews' influence.

You have to write more often than you talk about writing. Otherwise you're just lying to yourself.

"Incel." You can read it on wattpad.
It's about male feminists and male-identifying SJW allies.

I have no idea. It's something to do. We all have to find something to distract us from the pain of existing. We all need something to do until we die by chance. I'm just prolonging myself out of weakness like everybody else.
I guess I like it because whenever I start feeling really depressed, I can just come up with a new book idea and throw all of my energy into that to keep from spiraling too much. I guess I'd say writing is good for my emotional health.
Writers can sometimes get really pretentious about their craft. I want to add that writing doesn't matter any more than anything else. Eventually the entire universe will burn out and none of us will be remembered.

I don't think I do. I don't know. I have stories in my head that nobody wrote yet and I sit down and write them. I don't wait for inspiration. I don't think I believe in it.

People always get upset at me when I say this. But the first time someone said it to me, back when I was a really undisciplined writer, someone who talked about more writing more than I actually wrote, I found it really helpful. So for those who can stomach the tough love, I'll continue to say it.
There is no such thing as writer's block. You're being lazy. You like the idea of being a writer, but sitting down and writing is work. Revising a story that didn't come out on paper nearly as good as it was in your head, that is work. Whining and carrying on that you don't know what to write isn't work. It allows you to feel like a tortured artist without doing any of the work.
Either shut-up and write or don't. Seriously. If you really don't know what to write, then don't freaking write. Nobody cares if you do or don't.
But if you do decide it's time to put the work in, I recommend creating a routine for yourself where you sit down and write at least 1k words each and every day. Writing won't stop feeling like work until you do that for at least six months straight.

I would live inside a Johanna Lindsay novel and wear pretty dresses and get kidnapped by wealthy, hot dudes. I'd also be really "spunky" or "sassy" or "rebellious." That's the only way to score the leading role in her books. Strong Wahman.

No. I don't like flash fiction. I don't enjoy reading it, so I shall not write it.
