Goodreads asked Jyvur Entropy:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jyvur Entropy People always get upset at me when I say this. But the first time someone said it to me, back when I was a really undisciplined writer, someone who talked about more writing more than I actually wrote, I found it really helpful. So for those who can stomach the tough love, I'll continue to say it.

There is no such thing as writer's block. You're being lazy. You like the idea of being a writer, but sitting down and writing is work. Revising a story that didn't come out on paper nearly as good as it was in your head, that is work. Whining and carrying on that you don't know what to write isn't work. It allows you to feel like a tortured artist without doing any of the work.

Either shut-up and write or don't. Seriously. If you really don't know what to write, then don't freaking write. Nobody cares if you do or don't.

But if you do decide it's time to put the work in, I recommend creating a routine for yourself where you sit down and write at least 1k words each and every day. Writing won't stop feeling like work until you do that for at least six months straight.
