P.J. Nakfoor Hello! Thank you for your question! Lev edited both of my novels--I had done minimal workshops prior (two or three)--nothing very extensive. The way I approached it was to write a third or fourth draft of each, until I couldn't improve it any more. He then edited chapter by chapter and I made final changes based on that. Both novels were made much better with his input. Lev loves to educate and encourage newer authors, which I much appreciated. Good luck! : ) Patti
P.J. Nakfoor Hello--what a great question! One memory I have involves a rumor I'd heard at the hospital I worked at--that occasionally a little girl was seen roaming the underground tunnels of the building. One time I helped a nurse transfer a dead body to the morgue in the basement. We had to use an old elevator to get there. After we dropped the body off, we decided to use the stairway to get back to the ER because the elevator was so creepy. As we walked down the hall, we heard the elevator open and close, but nobody exited it. We ran to the stairwell and I looked into a mirror which had been installed in the hallway. I saw a little girl in a white or faded pink dress behind us, but when I turned around, she wasn't there. We ran up the stairs with our hearts racing, and I never went to the basement again!
P.J. Nakfoor Great Question!

I awakened from the coma to complete darkness and silence. I feel for my surroundings and realize I'm inside a box, buried alive.
P.J. Nakfoor Thank you for this interesting question! I think I'd like to go to Missandei of Nath Nath, the tropical island in Game of Thrones. I would swim, pick flowers and eat fruit from the trees.
P.J. Nakfoor So sorry about the delay and thank you for your question. I plan to read "The Promised Land" by Barack Obama. It's over 700 pages long so might take me a bit. Otherwise, I'll pick books according to my mood. I normally read crime, thrillers, autobiographies and histories.
P.J. Nakfoor I don't think too hard about what to write. When I'm stuck, I just start writing and eventually the idea develops. Thank you!
P.J. Nakfoor For me, it's the ability to finally express my creativity (I once had considered acting as a career) after so many years of stuffing my brain with science. I can write without leaving home and can do as much or as little as I want. Thank you!
P.J. Nakfoor Anyone who wants to write can do so. Each person can tell their own story better than anybody else can. Just sit down and start writing about anything. Keep at it, and eventually a story will develop. Thanks for asking.
P.J. Nakfoor My second novel, Fear of Fear is about an agoraphobic woman (fears leaving home) who finds herself in the worst case scenario, and her quest for getting out alive. Thanks for the question!
P.J. Nakfoor Interestingly, I really don't get inspired. I just sit down and start writing, and then later decide what to keep and what to trash. Thanks for the question!
P.J. Nakfoor I have always been fascinated by personality disorders. I took real situations I experienced either personally or professionally and fictionalized them to make them more dramatic. Thanks for the question!
