What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

P.J. Nakfoor Hello--what a great question! One memory I have involves a rumor I'd heard at the hospital I worked at--that occasionally a little girl was seen roaming the underground tunnels of the building. One time I helped a nurse transfer a dead body to the morgue in the basement. We had to use an old elevator to get there. After we dropped the body off, we decided to use the stairway to get back to the ER because the elevator was so creepy. As we walked down the hall, we heard the elevator open and close, but nobody exited it. We ran to the stairwell and I looked into a mirror which had been installed in the hallway. I saw a little girl in a white or faded pink dress behind us, but when I turned around, she wasn't there. We ran up the stairs with our hearts racing, and I never went to the basement again!
