I go for a walk or a bike ride. Sometimes a shower will do the trick.

I wasn't always an introvert. Wait, no. For years I tried to be an extrovert and I was quite good at it. But it was exhausting. Being a writer lets me live in my own little world where everyone (characters) always agree with me and everything is sunshine and rainbows. I can spend hours at the computer engaged in all aspects of a writers life, even the ones I used to loath like marketing.

Just write. It doesn't matter what you write about. You know what they say; practice makes perfect. While I was writing The Evers series, I worked with an editor. Yes, I paid an editor with money I didn't have. But readers have told me there is a marked improvement in my writing from book to book.

I was writing short stories as a fun challenge and uploading them as I finished them. A GOODREADS reader left me a fantastic review on the first one and said it would make a great book. And the idea to write 12 short stories and have them compete for a spot as a novel, Hunger Games Style, was born.

I'm working on a new YA Fantasy and Magic series. The first book picks up where The Evers Series left off, but the story is told from Tom's point of view.
If you haven't read The Evers Series, you can still enjoy the book as there is a brief recap at the start. If you've read The Evers Series, you'll be happy to hear the whole gang is there at The Academy, including Lola and Devlin.

I'd want to visit Summerset Isle, where the Evers visit in The World Jumper. From there I could use a portal to anywhere!

NaNoWriMo is what finally got me to write. In the past year, I've participated in all the yearly events which yielded three more books. In 2021, I decided I wanted to be a full-time writer. In March, I couldn't wait for April and started writing daily. Oddly, I think seeing myself as a writer is all the inspiration I need. Of course, I read a LOT!
