Goodreads asked Marie-Hélène Lebeault:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Marie-Hélène Lebeault I wasn't always an introvert. Wait, no. For years I tried to be an extrovert and I was quite good at it. But it was exhausting. Being a writer lets me live in my own little world where everyone (characters) always agree with me and everything is sunshine and rainbows. I can spend hours at the computer engaged in all aspects of a writers life, even the ones I used to loath like marketing.
