There are no sexual scenes or F-words in my book -- I personally avoid expletives in my personal life and that translated into my writing -- however the beginning can be considered rather violent. I'm completely honored that you're considering my book for your in-classroom library! Those changed my life as a kid. Having books readily available to you is so important.
And yes, I did write this in high school! I started it in ninth grade -- I hope this will be inspiring to your students :)
