William Havelock Very soon! It should be listed in the next couple of weeks. The title is The Seventh Gift.

First, congratulations on an excellent historical fiction series. Did I miss it, or was Varus' brother ever freed from being a slave, or does he still remain a slave through all three books? If he is still a slave, I would have thought that his actions during the civilian uprising after the chariot races, AT LEAST, would have been sufficient service to reward his freedom, no?

Hi William, Thank you for your hard work on this series. When can readers expect Book 4 (Pillars of Herakles) to be released on Audible? Zach Lazar Hoffman brings the Last of The Romans series to life in a way I haven't yet encountered. Thank you
William Havelock It has been a challenge with Book 4's audio, but we're nearly done! We are parsing through the mastered files over the next couple of weeks. I suspect the full upload to Audible will be next month (August 2024).

when does book 3 become available??
William Havelock 7 October 2022 is the launch date of Book 3 (The Gates of Carthage). Of the series thus far, Book 3 was the most enjoyable to write.

I'm hard at work completing Book 4, and hope to have that ready to launch a bit earlier than prior books. Planning for an 8-book series, and am currently drafting Book 6.

Mr Havelock Thanks so much for such a wonderfully written depiction of the Byzantine history and the important part Belisarius played in that history. My question is when will book 3 be published? I can't wait and would love to read an early release copy if possible. Thanks
