I don’t dream often, but I swear that some my dreams end up coming true. That’s such a mystery to me. How is that possible? Would God share things to come with me, and if so how does human will play into all that. Just my own musings.

Writer's block is an excuse for perfectionists who want to get it perfect the first time around. If you absolutely cannot write, turn on your voice recorder and start speaking. I've never had speaker's block.

Just start. Start anything. Start today. Even if it's using the notes app on your cell phone. Carve out some time, put some tunes on, and start "dumping" all the thoughts that flow from your consciousness. Honestly, most of it will be garage...but it's YOUR garbage and it has to get out. As you express yourself more, you'll find themes emerge. Pick one and go deep. And don't give up!

I have a few ideas marinating right now. I'm sensing something may emerge around one of two ideas: the power of intentionality and/or the blessing of inconvenience. But in truth, I'm learning about marketing my book and ramping up my social media content.

Coffee. Lots of coffee! I'm also a fan of instrumental tracks on Spotify. Right now, I'm savoring the Instrumental Meditation playlist that was put together by The Vigil Project. I also listen to Ambient Relaxation, which has a little more than 15 hours of mood music, soothing, and with no words. I'm a dad of four so I get easily distracted!

I wrote the book I wish I could have read when I was younger. Now at 38, I'm still arguably young, but I've acquired some very practical tools that I wanted to share with others. "How I actually follow Jesus?" That's what I address in my book. My intent is that you'll pick up some useful tools, learn about who God is, and discover more about yourself in the process.
