Sass Green This is an excellent question!

I love dining in fine restaurants. This is especially true in Europe where the servers tend to stay at the same restaurant for years, even decades.

At one point, I also wrote restaurant reviews.

Even though the chefs are not supposed to know they are being reviewed, once I was taken inside the kitchen. I was surprised to see my picture right on the back wall of the kitchen door!

And you probably already know, that most chefs are incredibly handsome!

So when I was plotting my new upcoming book, Poisoned in Provence, I got to thinking about the times I've judged restaurants for a competition ...

... and I started thinking, what would happen one of the judges (hopefully not me!) got poisoned from a rival judge, or a chef.

That "what if" question was the beginning point for my new book!

Sass Green Thanks! I'm working on a really fun, fast-reading "vampire romance."

The tone is a bit YA, even though the story features 23 year old Nina Brown, a wine writer for a glossy Manhattan magazine.

She falls in love with a handsome rich billionaire who just happens to be a vampire!
Sass Green 🍒Thanks for the compliment! It could be that every writer’s favorite moment is when everything comes together!

If you like to cook dinner for friends and family, maybe you can relate.

You have the idea to launch a dinner. It excites you!

Then the day comes when you must find that recipe. Perhaps you spend time searching in a recipe file or the Internet.

Then you need to shop for the ingredients.

When the day arrives you must prepare the meal, the weather outside is gorgeous!

Yet you’re in the kitchen, chopping vegetables.

But then you start to simmer them in butter.

Soon the kitchen soon smells delicious!

At that moment you realize you’ve created something tantalizing.
In writing terms, the “plot is cooking.”

It’s all coming together.

So the favorite moment is when all those ingredients turn into something fantastic!
Sass Green I was reading a true life story about how 1940s actress Lana Turner got discovered in a coffee shop - and it just happened! The result was one of the stories in Rich&Sexy
