If I could travel to any fictional world, I would travel to Narnia. I love the simple and magical land that was created. I like the talking animals and dryads. It is a beautiful place that I would love to live in.

To get in the mood for writing, I turn on my Spotify playlists. I have one for each project I am working on. The songs on the list relate to the mood or themes of the book. Some of the songs remind me of characters or relationships in the book. It helps me get into the mindset to write.

When I have writer's block, I like to listen to music that has the same mood as the scene I am stuck on. I also will sometimes go back and reread sections of my work to see if there is something I can improve on earlier to get the plot flowing once more.

My most recent book - Rise of the Dragon Queen- has been rattling around in my mind for a long time. Way back when I was in middle school, we had a project where we had to design our own country. We were required to come up with the governing system, the trading, landmarks, etc. That was where I first made Dragonia. I even wrote a really bad ten-page story about two important women in its history. These ended up turning into Jennica and Sammaria.

I am currently working on the sequel to "Rise of the Dragon Queen." It takes place five years after the main events of the first book.
