Words! I love authors that can paint a picture with their words. And it doesn't matter if the imagined scene is a beautiful sunrise or a dank jail cell. I love the great writers and their ability to mold sentences and feelings. I aspire to be like that. I want someone to one day say that I took them to another place entirely just through my writing.

I just started my second sci-fi novel. I don't have a title and I'm not sure where it's headed just yet, but it's gonna be fun! My desk is cleared and I have all my snacks ready to go!

I've always loved to read. That passion started with comic books. Then, about fifteen years ago, I was trying to find something for my son to read. He was into sports, specifically basketball and it was always a challenge to get him interested in books. But I couldn't find anything for a twelve-year-old kid that wasn't dated. So, I started to write my own book about a high school basketball player. I never finished it. The pages are in the garage somewhere, but that's when it all started.

My newest work is a sci-fi novel. It's titled Gene and should be available by the middle of March 2021. The idea came about during a political discussion. Off the cuff, I said we need Gene! At the time, he was a cartoonish extraterrestrial that would come and solve all the world's problems. The next thing you know, I'm writing a book titled "Gene".
