Goodreads asked Garet Christopher:

How do you get inspired to write?

Garet Christopher I've always loved to read. That passion started with comic books. Then, about fifteen years ago, I was trying to find something for my son to read. He was into sports, specifically basketball and it was always a challenge to get him interested in books. But I couldn't find anything for a twelve-year-old kid that wasn't dated. So, I started to write my own book about a high school basketball player. I never finished it. The pages are in the garage somewhere, but that's when it all started.
