Reading is inspiring. I have devoured books since I was a child. My mother used to be exasperated by this stubborn spectacled daughter of hers who read storybooks to the exclusion of all school textbooks. It was a habit of mine to carry my reads into the loo and spend hours inside, much to my mother's bemusement. My writing is also heavily informed by my travels.
