Writer's block is awful, it's like your brain/consciousness has slammed the door on you, wants a bit of 'time to itself' and has banished you, and you have no outlet. I usually drink.

I'm currently working on a new DomCom (domestic comedy) called Tipping Point, where a busy secretary, wife and mother to teenagers reaches a crisis point and everything changes. There's huge dollups of humour, but some quite touching moments too - you can't have one without the other.

Writing is just something I do, like breathing. I have to write. I might see something on TV or in a film, or read something in a book, or spot something in real life, and I'll think, "Oh, interesting. What if...?"
