Wading through the dark, knee-deep waters of the atchafalaya basin at midnight with only a spotlight to illuminate the eyes of bullfrogs and alligators defied logic and brought to the surface a primal, uncontrollable fear. The spotlight stopped working.

Personally, it allows me to take what I thought I knew or believed about my capabilities as a writer and push myself way past those boundaries into heightened territories I never knew existed.
I feel like I grow so much stronger with each new chapter written that the momentum itself is addicting, my prose polished into a newly found force.

Is the story unique? Does writing it challenge me enough to be worthy of my time? Is it timeless? Can I deliver powerful enough emotional responses from the topic which translates into propelling the reader into my atmosphere of creation?

Being infatuated with technology and society, it's quite easy to derive plots from just about everything in that field. AI and quantum computing already are quite prevelant in society although at this time still in an early phase in relation to impact on humanity.
For me personally, it's about finding a truly unique story that moves the reader emotionally even though technology can be quite apathetic and cold.

Schedule a specific time frame in the day and let it slowly become your habit to write. Find out what part of the day you are most creative in. Always have at hand, really good examples to get inspiration from if you need. Set deadlines for wordcount and meet them religiously. Let it flow, don't edit as you go, that comes later.....

I am working on a new screenplay named 'EXO' currently and also thinking of converting Quantum Dawn, my novel, into a screenplay.
