I keep my imagination running all the time and look for those "what if" moments out in the real world. If I see something interesting or out of place, my mind crafts a narrative around it. Sometimes the mental story is intriguing enough that I feel the need to get those thoughts on the page.

A lot! But the next works I'll be publishing are a play that I wrote 10 years ago called "The Sorting", as well as another short story collection called "They See Me and other Haunting Stories". The play is a dark, creepy, love story. The short story collection is dark, creepy, and has a healthy amount of ghosts and monsters.

The ideas for "Please Rate Your Satisfaction" came from all over the place. Some stories were inspired by writing prompts, some came from ideas that popped into my head. I also took inspiration from some classic/well-known horror and sci-fi authors like Isaac Asimov, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King.

I know this is one that is said a lot, but write every day. You can't grow and improve if you're not getting words on the page. Also, do your research. Whether you're researching things to make your writing more accurate, or looking into how to get published, research is crucial.
