Hi, my name is Stephanie Anne!

I’m an oddball extraordinaire, and I love all things strange and monstrous. Specializing in disturbing and domestic horror, I enjoy making people uncomfortable.

My stories may not be scary in the “jumpscare” sense, but after reading one of my books you’ll never look at certain every-day things the same way again. If you like unsettling tales of torment and trauma, you're in for a treat.

My writing assistants are Minerva, Finn, Bubs, and Janey. Unfortunately, these free-spirited felines like to sleep on the job. That is, when they aren’t stepping on my keyboard and adding extra words to my books.

Stay Spooky!

Although some parts get a little repetitive by retelling events of the past war games, this is one of my fav volumes. This is when things start to get even darker. Plus, it features one of my favourite chess pieces (Ash) and one of my favourite AR

I didn’t have as much fun with this one compared to some of Saul’s other books. Overall, the story was just OK and pretty predictable, and I only really started to enjoy it about 2/3 of the way through. But by then all of the good stuff felt rushe

Rereading this one brought back some memories - although despite loving the fight between Nanashi and Aqua I completely forgot about the shark (very unusual for me). But my fav moment was when Crazy Quilt appeared - I’ve cosplayed that ARM many ti

We’re getting to the meat of the war games but I still have to wait for my fav moments. It’s funny that some characters I adored in my teens I’m not enjoying as much this time around; and characters I wasn’t a huge fan of are growing on me during

The one downside to the war games is that there’s not a ton of plot. But the battles and the characters are fun as hell.

Finally, the war games! The worst part about re-reading is anticipating all of my favourite scenes to come in future volumes. But this one is still tons of fun. Also, the more I read, the more I’m realizing just how much the art in this series influe ...more

Rereading this one is super exciting because all of the main characters have been introduced by now and the war games are imminent. This is when the series really kicks off for me.
