I take inspiration from everything and everyone. My brain is constantly wired up, wondering what makes people be themselves, what drives them and how they see the world.
I ask myself how my characters would experience a certain food, music, situation.
Most of all, I read and I dream. Then, I let my mind wander without holding it back. Sometimes it takes me nowhere, but then there is that one moment where I find the spark of an idea that gets my stomach flipping and my heart racing. That is when I know I have the beginning of something I want to put on paper.

Never give up and never forget why you write in the first place. Find that moment, scene, dialogue that makes you want keep going and hold it very very close to your heart, You'll need it.
