I'm just running my page on Instagram @pen_of_purpose and also my art account @the_fickle_artist. Published my book "Purple Wine" just a month ago, so I'm still trying to rest and recharge my creative batteries till I'm able to work on something big again.

When it comes to art, take your time. Don't let the tempting idea of being published carry you away so much that you end up rushing your book and neglecting the changes you must make. It's not even only about being published - take your time in general while writing. Writing is a very iterative process, so it's okay if you don't come up with something flawless the first time. The first drafts suck anyway.

Personally, I try to "own" my writer's block. I don't try to force it to go away, because when you're forcing something in your art, it oftentimes manifests in the final piece and your readers/viewers can see it. I just take my time and try writing at different times until my creative juices really begin flowing and I'm able to come up with something nice.

I'm not really that much into fiction, so haven't read a lot of fictional novels. I do sometimes write "fictional poems" based on my fantasies of a utopian world where I'll be loved and accepted the way I am. I wrote a poem called "Utopia" in my poetry volume "Purple Wine" and that poem in particular reflects the perfect world I'd like to live in or at least visit sometimes. The poem talks about a "utopia" where I won't be judged just because I'm a feminine guy and will find friends accepting and loving me the way I am.
