I do sometimes write "fictional poems" based on my fantasies of a utopian world where I'll be loved and accepted the way I am. I wrote a poem called "Utopia" in my poetry volume "Purple Wine" and that poem in particular reflects the perfect world I'd like to live in or at least visit sometimes. The poem talks about a "utopia" where I won't be judged just because I'm a feminine guy and will find friends accepting and loving me the way I am.(less)

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Muhammad Farhan Ahmed Personally, I try to "own" my writer's block. I don't try to force it to go away, because when you're forcing something in your art, it oftentimes man…morePersonally, I try to "own" my writer's block. I don't try to force it to go away, because when you're forcing something in your art, it oftentimes manifests in the final piece and your readers/viewers can see it. I just take my time and try writing at different times until my creative juices really begin flowing and I'm able to come up with something nice.(less)
