Christella Almonacy I would go to Narnia! It's my favorite fictional world. I would want to do something heroic and become queen. It may sound silly, but I've always wanted that since childhood.
Christella Almonacy I'm looking to expand my classical literature library with some books: "The Picture of Dorian Gray", pieces from Shakespeare, and more from the Bronte sisters. I also want to read all of Philippa Gregory's books.
Christella Almonacy The mystery of forgiveness. It's a concept that I've been struggling with for a while now.
Christella Almonacy I deal with writer's block by taking a step back from writing the story and using that time to develop the characters. I like to create their backgrounds and really gain an understanding for who they are and what they want in life. Christella Almonacy My advice for aspiring writers is to not be afraid. Fear can be crippling and stop you from doing something you love. The fear of failure, of not being good enough, is your enemy. It talks you out of finishing things when you should be proud of the hard work you put into your project. Write from the heart, and tell your story!
Christella Almonacy I am currently working on two things. The first is a story about a queen who's kingdom is in danger from those who wish to enslave her people and take their resources. The second is a trilogy about a hybrid people and their wish to stay hidden from the human world.
Christella Almonacy My experiences are the biggest inspiration for my stories. Having the need to solve a problem in my life, or just work through some thoughts, helps me to get words on paper.
Christella Almonacy Each of my stories came from lessons I had to learn in my own life. I had a problem, but couldn't find a way to solve it, so I used my writing to create similar scenarios and allowed my imagination to guide me to the answer.
