Christella Almonacy has been a writer for as long as she can remember. From her poetry anthologies in elementary school to her creative writing assignments in high school, Christella used writing to express her emotions, deal with her problems, and make sense of the world. Throughout her journey, Christella realized her love for writing characters that looked like her. She writes stories that highlight the Black experience and give Black readers characters with whom they can relate. Christella has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Child Life Studies.
