I have a large notebook for each Novel that I'm writing, which has the story planned out from start to finish. I also have a small notebook next to my bed, where I jot down any plots and inspirations that come to me, day or night.
I use it for notes about future books as well, so I don't seem to suffer from writers block, as Im always planning ahead. Im a writer who reads through in my mind what I have written that day, usually when Im chilling in bed, so my small notebook is great to remind me that I have to correct something in my manuscript when I realise it is either wrong or could be written better, this saves me returning to my laptop when Im in much needed R&R mode !

I am a new Independent Author, which gives me the freedom to genre blend my stories. I find writing is a great outlet for creativity. Im not writing to earn an income, I write because I want to give my readers some time out from their busy life to enter my imaginary, fictional world. Knowing that it has made someone happy, reading something that I have written, is a bonus !

Novel Two in my Crime fiction, Nightingale series. The book is called
' Dark Writings ' which delves into the insight of a killer's disturbing thoughts, through their own written diary entries. Revealing a planned then executed horror, inflicted upon the unsuspecting female public of the North- East.
The story follows the fight back from women who refuse to stay fearful at home as they reclaim the night.
Its going to be another bleak winter for the Nightingale team of Investigators, as they try to solve a murder amongst the mayhem
