David A. Neuman Hi there,
Kaleidoscopic Shades – within Black Eternity, strangely enough, has a prequel which I have not bothered publishing as I felt it best to begin with this instead. I enjoy pulling ideas that challenge our concepts of reality and normalcy. Ideas that invite you to take a step beyond... to walk through your front door into another world which can't be explained. They just are, despite what debunkers may proclaim. Therefore I take unrelated ideas and concepts and merge them. Tick-tock...
David A. Neuman Hi there,
The Penny Arcade is a sequel to Kaleidoscopic Shades and should be released next year. In this story we see Joshua's and Leon's - now teenagers - sexual awakenings begin to reach maturity, we also see how friends, true friends, are willing to go to the edge of the world and beyond to save another who, by rights, should not exist. Should not be be alive.
The Penny Arcade itself is as old as time on Earth that has reached out from the depths on and off throughout history, affecting, taking, influencing.
It's this formidable foe that challenges the deepest courage that even the bravest harbor, let alone teenagers still fresh in their footsteps upon Earth.
David A. Neuman Hi there,
I must say, I wish I could address you folks by name. Nonetheless, I believe all writers have an innate seed within them that sprouts and needs to reach the light of day rather than being trapped within the walls of you head, heart and soul.
David A. Neuman Hi there,
Rather than bashing my head against the words, computer, keyboard, fingers and eventually THAT wall, which only gives me a bigger headache, I walk away from the work and go for either a long walk with my beautiful girls, Saffron, Cinnamon and Ginger (psst! they're dogs, but don't mention the word, they don't like it!) or go for a jog. It doesn't exactly clear the head of all the clutter, but it does allow clear images to come through and I'm often found in a fluster to return home so I can pen them down before they disappear once more into the ether.
David A. Neuman Hi there,
Undoubtedly it'd have to be when I was living in the hills with my parents and friends came along to camp on top of a hill on our property. We were all sitting in the tent talking rubbish, as thirteen years old who knew it all, when a shadow slipped by. It was mid-afternoon, by memory, and quite sunny. I said to the guys 'Don't worry, that's just dad.' When we unzipped the tent and looked around, though we did this immediately to say 'Hi' and the hill supported very thin eucalyptus trees that only a stick-figure could hide behind, no on was there.
No one.
By memory, they didn't stay camped on the hill
