Born in Adelaide, South Australia, David A Neuman was gifted a vivid imagination. In the late seventies, he walked out of Norwood High School an underachiever to embark on a scholastic journey before graduating from Flinders University in Behavioral Science.

Some thirty years ago, disenchanted with life's endless stop signs, he penned Kaleidoscopic Shades: Within Black Eternity and, if not for a chance meeting with a man of poetry, this multi-award winning book would have remained a secreted passion. After a two-year trek beyond the thin patina of reality, Neuman has finally released the sequel, The Penny Arcade: Mother's Care Orphanage, with the help of a small and highly dedicated team, admitting: Writing is like stumbling about the wilder

Hi there,
Undoubtedly it'd have to be when I was living in the hills with my parents and friends came along to camp on top of a hill on our property. We were all sitting in the tent talking rubbish, as thirteen years old who knew it all, when a shadow slipped by. It was mid-afternoon, by memory, and quite sunny. I said to the guys 'Don't worry, that's just dad.' When we unzipped the tent and looked around, though we did this immediately to say 'Hi' and the hill supported very thin eucalyptus trees that only a stick-figure could hide behind, no on was there.
No one.

Hi there,
Rather than bashing my head against the words, computer, keyboard, fingers and eventually THAT wall, which only gives me a bigger headache, I walk away from the work and go for either a long walk with my beautiful girls, Saffron, Cinnamon and Ginger (psst! they're dogs, but don't mention the word, they don't like it!) or go for a jog. It doesn't exactly clear the head of all the clutter, but it does allow clear images to come through and I'm often found in a fluster to return home so I can pen them down before they disappear once more into the ether.
