So far I haven't had a problem with that, as I have this ongoing project of the Talking Forest Runes to keep me occupied.

Perhaps that you are your own boss, but also writing forces you to come up against yourself and see yourself and others around you.

I would guess: write what you love and keep at it.

I have just completed a boxed set of Talking Forest runes and they are available at The Game Crafter https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/...
I'm planning a supplementary book on the Talking Forest which will go into greater detail regarding rune correspondences and how to use the runes, etc., hopefully by late 2025.

I admit I am a lazy writer. Since the Tallking Forest Tree Runes are my life's work, I am continuing to study them and any writing I do comes from that research. So the trees are my inspiration!

I am a practicing pagan and have always felt a deep spiritual connection to the trees of my country, Canada. I use various other divination systems, but none of them are tree rune systems, save for the Celtic Ogham. And while I like and respect that system, the runes do not convey to me a strong sense of the characters of the trees. In addition, many of the trees I know and love are missing from it. I therefore decided to create my own runes.

I suppose I would visit the Shire of the Ring Trilogy. I'd like to think I would, in some form, be one of the unknown little people struggling against the might of Sauron.

Presently I am enjoying Kay Hooper's "The First Prophet". This paranormal thriller is the first book I have read by her and I'm hoping she will become a favoured author to add to my reading roster. I've just finished Stieg Larsson's "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and enjoyed it as well. Also on my fiction list is Paul Tremblay's "A Head Full of Ghosts".
As for non-fiction, considering my own fascination with trees, I am ashamed to admit I have not yet read Suzanne Simard's "Finding the Mother Tree". How trees interact with each other, their environment and other lifeforms is a topic that has long intrigued me.
