Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kay Broome I am a practicing pagan and have always felt a deep spiritual connection to the trees of my country, Canada. I use various other divination systems, but none of them are tree rune systems, save for the Celtic Ogham. And while I like and respect that system, the runes do not convey to me a strong sense of the characters of the trees. In addition, many of the trees I know and love are missing from it. I therefore decided to create my own runes.
