My latest novel is under review by some large publishing houses. It's exciting. I used my real experiences as a special ops sergeant in the Air Force as a backdrop. It's a second chance romance. I am currently working on a "spinoff," another second chance romance that has a few scenes with one of the main characters in the novel mentioned above.

Unbelievable but true stories inspire me. When I find myself shaking my head as someone remembers an incredulous experience, my mental pen begins to write. I infuse these nuggets of truth into a tale, weaving real experiences into a blanket of fiction.

How many people remember when Florida was Southern, before it had air conditioning or Disney World? I have memories of those days, and the desire to capture and preserve old, rural Florida became one of my goals. The story begins in 1952, before I was born. I come from a long line of Floridians, a family descended from Native Americans. I created fictional characters, wrapping them around songs that were popular at the time. Some of my best memories are from my childhood, my family and their friends playing music on the porch.
