After writing for ten years and completing three novels (plus some unpublished items), I can’t say that I’ve ever encountered writers-bloc. (Thank goodness.)
I might actually have an opposite problem. In other words, there are so many stories that I desire to write that I often feel anxiety with only being able to work on one theme at a time. When I do set down to write, sometimes I need to pause and take a breath before beginning that initial sentence, but once I get going it just flows.

Take the highest acclaim and lowest criticism with a grain of salt. Listen to those who actually read your works thoroughly and find good and negative things to say. Spend a lot of time in setting up your story and outlining your thoughts before beginning your book. Once you do start writing, mandate yourself to a daily word quota. Good writing is like exercising. It thrives on daily routine and balancing of life-style.

I’ve just finished my third novel “Fade In Two”. It should be published in mid November 2014.
With this work, I wanted to explore a single being and his drive towards self-destruction. I wanted to make the narrative as subtle as possible and allow the reader to infuse his or her own judgment on what is a good or rational forfeiting of one's existence. It's unlike my first two books in that it's more contemporary and existential. I’ve very proud of this new tale. It’s only about half as long as Rywcia and Sylvia, but the story is no less involving. Stay tuned:-)

My books thus far have each inspired me in their own way. With Sylvia Ionnescu, I’ve always wanted to write a novel about a man who has an affair with a woman years after initially meeting her. I then created a story around that simple theme that incorporated my experiences of traveling in Russia and Paris. I wanted to make it a classic love tale of two who are drawn to each other while outside forces increasingly burden their daily life.
