How do you get inspired to write?

Joseph Vitale My books thus far have each inspired me in their own way. With Sylvia Ionnescu, I’ve always wanted to write a novel about a man who has an affair with a woman years after initially meeting her. I then created a story around that simple theme that incorporated my experiences of traveling in Russia and Paris. I wanted to make it a classic love tale of two who are drawn to each other while outside forces increasingly burden their daily life.
