(view spoiler)[I've just started reading The Divine Flesh, and am curious about the location of Coeur d'Alene so far! It's only about 30 minutes from my hometown, so I am always surprised if it comes up in a book! Is there any reason you chose this location in particular?

Editing my fun, Halloween-themed monster novel, "The Exodontists"!
It's a weird combo of literary and commercial fiction, revolving around the theme of family.
The Exodontists are a loving family, even if they aren't human. They dwell in an abandoned warehouse and satiate their need for teeth by practicing dentistry for willing clients...but when a Halloween store chain takes over their warehouse, they must adapt.
The plot is *chef's kiss* absolutely wild, but in the best way. Y'all know how wild my plots get. There's body horror. There's dark comedy. There's great prose--I really got to craft some awesome prose on this one.
Anyway, this is the story of how a monster family ends up having to go through a Halloween-themed torture gauntlet in order to rescue their weakest member--Boy, who is physically small--while also navigating family drama, and having no idea what Halloween is, so they're just...baffled by all these decorations and reformatted animatronics.
