I am inspired by everything around me. The texture of bark on that tree over there, the bunny-shaped cloud floating lazily overhead, the dark, ominous mole on that rude server's shoulder, and the cutting glance she gives as I type about her (how does she know?!) I'll write it all down, words, sentences, character quirks, and use bits and bobs later on.

When my creativity starts to dwindle (usually because I'm tired and pushing my brain too much) I draw, mind-map, and get out of my own way. I have found aimless wandering in nature or scrolling through Pinterest give me little sparks that I can follow down the rabbit hole and become lost in once again.
