How do you get inspired to write?

Brooklyn Dean I am inspired by everything around me. The texture of bark on that tree over there, the bunny-shaped cloud floating lazily overhead, the dark, ominous mole on that rude server's shoulder, and the cutting glance she gives as I type about her (how does she know?!) I'll write it all down, words, sentences, character quirks, and use bits and bobs later on.
