I'm currently finishing the revision of A Year of Summer Shadows - Book #2 of the Riverton Road Romantic Suspense Series. Next I move on to Book #3 - A Villain for Vanessa. All of these stories take place in the remote North Country of New York State & feature the Kalli family & the fortunate folks who find safety & a warm welcome at the Kalli homestead on Riverton Road - no matter how dangerous their circumstances may be.

For me the best thing about writing is losing myself in the story. I fall down into it like Alice falling down the rabbit hole and experience one adventure after another right along with my characters. Then I write those adventures down and invite my readers to jump into my story and experience it with me. This is the best of Wonderland every time.

Writer's Block is usually my author intuition telling me I need to rethink whatever I'm working on because something just isn't right about it. When I listen to that good advice and do the work that's needed the block usually disappears. Of course sometimes writer's block is simply telling me I need a rest. It's wise to listen to that advice too.
