AnnaLee Conti In 1969, I was living in Anchorage, Alaska, while my husband was in Vietnam for a year. I met a lady at church, and we became friends. Her husband was an Army officer at Fort Richardson, and she had four young children. He was abusive to her and had caused her to miscarry a child previously. One night she disappeared. Another friend and I contacted the authorities, but to my knowledge, she was never found. I often wonder what happened to her.
