How do you deal with writer’s block?
John Musgrove This might stir controversy, but I don't believe it even exists. There is procrastination, or lack of motivation, but I cannot turn my brain off long enough to pretend I am not interested in 'what happens next?'

There are writing exercises, prompts, inspiration-provoking research, and all manners of sources for good stories. Cemeteries, obituaries, 'this day in history' posts from bloggers, and so many more - all fuel my creativity.

How do you get inspired to write?
John Musgrove I am blessed with a vivid imagination. It is rare that I hear some detail that does not spark - 'wait, what happened AFTER that?' in my head. I keep a running list of ideas, stories, plots, and references.

What are you currently working on?
John Musgrove I have a few things in progress. First is a modern gay romance that will be released this fall. Next spring, I plan to release the second book in my Reticent Richmond Series - Mary's Grace.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
John Musgrove I went to a lecture on the architecture of Richmond, Virginia in 2015. The two experts (from my alma mater, Virginia Commonwealth University) said that Lewis Ginter remained a bachelor his entire life. They also mentioned that he lived with a younger man for the last twenty years of his life.

I sent myself an email that stated: write the love story for Lewis Ginter and John Pope.
