I'm thinking about Levi! Brian is a tough one, since he doesn't settle with a single Dom, his HEA isn't a traditional romance.

Their story continues into the Deviations Series! Their relationship isn't told from Bradford and Nikki's POV, but as the books go on, you see plenty of how they develop together!

I would LOVE to, actually. It's on my list. You maybe have just bumped it up a few notches! <3 So that's a definite maybe.

No, it's a new series by me and BA Tortuga, set in NYC.

It was a dark and stormy night. Jodi was completely out of coffee.

Not well. ;-) Depending on how blocked I am, I'll try to push through it and worry more about word count than style for a while (that's what the first read through is for!) or I'll step away from the computer and map the story out more completely. Sometimes having a good map lets me navigate through the block. If that doesn't work, I'll have some fun with the characters. I'll interview them, make up things about them like what was said about them in their high school yearbook - things that wouldn't come up in the story. Sometimes that kick-starts things for me. The key for me is just to switch things up.

I got the idea for Linchpin because I wanted to write a romantic suspense. I hadn't ever written on before and I didn't have a lot of confidence that I could make up a convincing mystery, so I tried to think of a situation where two men would just be thrown together (and trapped together) and the mystery was more about who they were and why they were there than something to "solve". And then I got the idea for the mobster, and a contracted murder that didn't happen. Also, the concept was kind of funny to me and that's always a draw.

When ideas aren't flowing freely, I people-watch. I love characters, love creating personas and back stories. I can sit in a coffee shop and watch someone typing on a laptop or chatting with his boyfriend and imagine what brought them there that day, where they are going next, who they're in love with, what their biggest obstacle is - whatever. Make up a short story about them. Often, those little tales and the people end up as characters in my stories.
