Music (more specifically, soundtracks) always inspire my imagination! ("Ingrid" was written to music composed by my adult son with the intention of adding the album as a companion soundtrack when it was finished.)

My (then 16 year old) daughter and I were having a great conversation about accepting ourselves as we are. I got the idea for Ingrid's character from that conversation. Ingrid is a young, mute girl bitter against her silence needing to find a place of contentment and to see value in the way she IS instead of how she wishes she could be.
