The Jetsons! I love how they live...Janie and George, and how they react to each other and the silly situations they find themselves in - one stays calm...usually Jane, and George tends to bounce off of the ceilings.
I watched every episode when I was growing up and the one thing no one was ever able to see was the surface of the earth. All of their homes were perched on these super thin poles that presumably were anchored to the earth...but what was down there!?!?! :)

Every one has different reasons why they want to write. My best advice though, is just write...don't read books on how to write...just do it.

I love creating scenarios that my characters need to figure out how to get out of.

It happens, and it is frustrating because I would like to turn on my writing when I want to write...so, I just have to wait it out and do things that I enjoy - usually, if I go for a walk and let my mind wander, the direction of whatever it is I am writing becomes more clear.

I enjoy painting my characters into a corner and then figuring out how to move the story forward by having them solve how to get out of the dilemma they are in. My characters are very real to me, and, I let them speak to me, as it were, while I am writing about them.

Walking on Mars, which released January 6th, 2015, is based on trips I took to Antarctica with the Air Force. The stories I have created will be brought to you by a fictional reporter named Samantha "Sam" Bloodworth. I traveled to McMurdo Base in Antarctica with the Air Force is 1994 as their guest to do research for a painting I created for the US National Archives. James Cameron, creator of The Terminator and Titanic was also with us.

Throughout 2015, every 2 weeks, I will be releasing a new short story (26 in all) as part of the Walking on Mars series. Keep an eye out in June for the release of Dark Lights, and then this October, and wonderful book for young adult readers called The Whistlebrass Horror.
2016, Spring - This year has gotten off to a wonderfully busy start. Two full novels released. - Waking On Mars, The Dark Sector and Apparitions (May 17). At this time, I am working on the sequel to Whistlebrass Horror and the sequel to Apparitions called Graymont - a haunting in the south. Hope you like spooky stories!!
