As I grew older, I found I couldn't use my eyes to consume stories anymore. Many years later, I know fully rely on audiobooks. I really want to listen to this new book. I even want to 'reread' The Body which really changed how I think about myself. There's no audiobook version though (that I could find anyway!) Will you please consider creating an audiobook version of the new book? And maybe The Body as well?

Laurel Doud Hi, Shannon. Thank you for contacting me! Yeah, it's been 25 years between books. A lot has changed, hasn't it? On so many levels.

I was disappointed that Little Brown never wanted to make This Body into an audiobook. I love to listen to books as well!

SomeBody will be an audiobook! Yay! It's being recorded as we speak and should be released sometime Jan 2027.

The narrator, Tavia Gilbert, won the Audie Award for Best Female Narrator in 2017, beating out Emma Thompson and Juliet Stevenson. (I'm impressed.) I just finished listening to the book, Be Frank With Me by Julia Johnson, that Tavia won the award for. Tavia really brought the title character, Frank, alive for me. Yesterday I realized I missed him.

I'm going to try to wrestle my rights back from Little Brown so maybe I can get it into an audiobook, but I think it's going to take months to even hear back from them.
