This book is honestly compiled of my journey through my early teens into becoming a young adult and then a young woman. It begins with times of suffering through poetry about feeling invisible, lonely, taken advantage of, and toxic or failed love while as the book goes on you will see a shift into a brighter light, finally coming out of the storm I really wanted those poems to be encouraging for those who feel like they are suffocating in darkness, to be something they could even read aloud to themselves to help motivate and then the end of the book is mainly romance. Finally finding that person you always longed for but felt you would never deserve and just the overwhelming bliss of that feeling.

Keep envisioning your dreams as a reality and pouring your heart into your writing. It may seem far off and take a lot of time to hone your craft, but it will be worth it. There were many times I thought about giving up and I am so grateful that I kept going not only did I find myself healing through writing but I also found myself achieving the goal I had set out for.

The best thing about being a writer is to express my heart and be able to show others they aren't alone. I found that growing up, reading became an escape for me when I faced challenges in life and poetry especially helped to show me that there were others who experienced similar pain as I did. It made me feel less alone and sometimes, helped me to make sense of things I hadn't yet processed for myself.
