Robert Stermscheg Ah, you’ve stumbled into Karl May’s world and discovered what an incredible storyteller he turned out to be. As a translator, I include myself and often feel that I’ve been caught up in the suspense and intrigue of this author’s work.
The next instalment, The Foundling( currently undergoing translation), gives the reader more insight into Richard’s past, and his quest to solve his father’s disappearance, as well as unravelling the mystery of Franz’s heritage.
Not to be outdone, our nemesis, Captain Richemonte isn’t done yet.

Robert Stermscheg I find that all too often, it's not so much a case of writer's block but being distracted by the things around us. Whether it's work, phone calls, or thinking about finances, they can have an impact, taking us away from what we love to do: writing. So, the next time you're experiencing the angst of not being able to put something on paper, stop, walk away from the desk, take a break and refocus your energy.
