My best advice for aspiring writers is to show your best, most polished, 3rd party edited work. Because a mistake, is a mistake.
Use professional editors, designers, and put together a solid A-Team of book clubs and loyal readers to fine-tooth comb your pre-published manuscripts.

The idea for my just-published, "Street of Broken People" derived from the life stories of my neighbors -- my own life included.
