How many books do you publish a year?

Marin Thomas Patricia, I've been averaging 3-4 series books with Harlequin for the past couple of years. I'm not a very fast writer so the overlapping deadlines can get a little stressful. Now that I'm writing Women's Fiction (one book a year) I will probably space my Harlequin books farther apart in order to have enough time to work on my longer single titles. Not ideal but necessary if I want to have a life outside of writing :-)

Marin Thomas Work hard at learning the craft and be true to your voice.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Marin Thomas Quit writing for the day then start up again the next morning--a short break from the computer usually works best for me.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Marin Thomas No commute and I can get to wear sweat pants and T-shirts to work!

What are you currently working on?

Marin Thomas I'm writing the first book in my newest series for Harlequin American Romance, Cowboys of the Rio Grande (June 2015).
