Patricia, I've been averaging 3-4 series books with Harlequin for the past couple of years. I'm not a very fast writer so the overlapping deadlines can get a little stressful. Now that I'm writing Women's Fiction (one book a year) I will probably space my Harlequin books farther apart in order to have enough time to work on my longer single titles. Not ideal but necessary if I want to have a life outside of writing :-)
