Hi Stephanie: Thank you for this question! I do have more books planned: one that follows up on what happens with Jes after the events of The Circus Infinite, and one that centers Esmée and one that centers Bo. The Esmée book is already drafted and sitting on my hard drive.
Alas, as I am traditionally published, the decision of whether or not to publish more in the Circus universe is not entirely up to me, and while sales of The Circus Infinite were solid enough that my publisher is putting out another book of mine, they were not strong enough that they wanted a same-universe follow-up.
My plan is to get my next book out, see how it goes, and see if the audience for The Circus Infinite grows enough that I can revisit the idea of same universe follow-ups with my publisher. I am not ruling out self-publishing them, but it will be a little while before I make that call.
Hopefully this was not too much information or too revealing of how the sausage gets made! But I believe in transparency, and the more readers understand how some decisions get made, the better for all of us.
Thank you for reading the book and for reaching out. I so so appreciate it, you've no idea!

1. Writing what you want to read and what's in your heart will yield better results than chasing trends.
2. Find writing friends & community — the non-writers in your life will not understand.
3. Revision is where the magic happens. Editing is more than just fixing typos and grammatical errors.

I just finished the fourth draft of a future-fantasy I think of as FINAL FANTASY meets LOGAN'S RUN. It's being read by critique partners and my agent right now, so I'm waiting on feedback before undertaking further revisions. I've got a couple of other ideas and am in that place of deciding which one to write next.

Writing a circus story was on my "writer bucket list" because of my circus past. I had always thought it would be set in the "real world" though. I'd crafted the universe of The Circus Infinite with the intention of writing a space opera murder mystery, but that story wasn't quite clicking. I didn't want to waste the worldbuilding though, and that's when the circus in space idea popped up and the characters immediately came to me so I went with it.
