I do have more books planned: one that follows up on what happens with Jes after the events of The Circus Infinite, and one that centers Esmée and one that centers Bo. The Esmée book is already drafted and sitting on my hard drive.

Alas, as I am traditionally published, the decision of whether or not to publish more in the Circus universe is not entirely up to me, and while sales of The Circus Infinite were solid enough that my publisher is putting out another book of mine, they were not strong enough that they wanted a same-universe follow-up.

My plan is to get my next book out, see how it goes, and see if the audience for The Circus Infinite grows enough that I can revisit the idea of same universe follow-ups with my publisher. I am not ruling out self-publishing them, but it will be a little while before I make that call.

Hopefully this was not too much information or too revealing of how the sausage gets made! But I believe in transparency, and the more readers understand how some decisions get made, the better for all of us.
