Hello, Patricia! Apologies for my absence while working on a new book. You may have read all three books in the Iris & Lily series by now. I hope you enjoyed them all! Julie and I had an unusually telepathic way of co-writing our story. While following a natural outline dictated by the process of growing up into teenagers, then young women, then adults, we wrote straight from the heart, mingling memories with fiction, and realizing that many memories ARE fiction! After completing our first draft we focused on adjusting timelines, settings, characters, working for another three years.

I do something physical for a few moments: I talk a stroll down the path behind my house, pull a few weeds in the garden, talk to the cat. Then I force myself to sit and write one word, which invariably leads to another. The important thing is to keep the words flowing, even if they aren't the right ones.
