Just finished book 1. Loved it! I grew up in the same area, so really connected with this book. Did you and your sister have an outline for your book? Or just start at the beginning and keep writing?

Angela Scipioni Hello, Patricia! Apologies for my absence while working on a new book. You may have read all three books in the Iris & Lily series by now. I hope you enjoyed them all! Julie and I had an unusually telepathic way of co-writing our story. While following a natural outline dictated by the process of growing up into teenagers, then young women, then adults, we wrote straight from the heart, mingling memories with fiction, and realizing that many memories ARE fiction! After completing our first draft we focused on adjusting timelines, settings, characters, working for another three years.
